These general terms and conditions apply to all purchases of electric bicycles, spare parts and accessories (“Products”) made through the ebikefactory.eu online store operated by VoltFactory Oy, as well as its related pages and channels. The website serves as a sales platform for products offered by various electric bicycle manufacturers and retailers, including electric bicycles, accessories, spare parts, electric mopeds and other similar products.
You can purchase products directly from the manufacturers and retailers who have chosen to sell their products through our website.
Please note that when you purchase an electric bicycle, spare part, accessory or any other product through ebikefactory.eu, the actual seller is the manufacturer or retailer of the product — not VoltFactory Oy. The sales contract is concluded between you and the respective seller. The seller’s details are always displayed on the product page and in the shopping cart. VoltFactory Oy is not the seller of the products available in the online store.
a) These terms apply when the purchaser is a consumer and the order is placed through ebikefactory.eu.
b) If the purchaser is a company or other legal entity, the applicable commercial sales legislation shall apply between the purchaser and the seller.
c) The sales contract is always concluded between the customer and the seller of the product. The seller’s details are clearly displayed with each product.
d) If you purchase a service through the website where VoltFactory Oy is identified as the seller (for example, a maintenance service), the agreement is concluded with VoltFactory Oy.
e) By making a purchase from the online store, you also accept these terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy.
f) Purchases require that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. Orders based on incorrect information may be cancelled.
g) Product information is provided by the sellers, who are solely responsible for its accuracy.
a) Placing an order requires acceptance of these terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy.
b) You will receive an order confirmation by email, even if the seller is someone other than VoltFactory Oy.
c) A binding agreement is concluded between you and the seller once the order confirmation has been sent after payment. Please keep the confirmation for future reference.
d) If the product is unavailable, the seller will inform you and refund your payment.
a) All prices are stated in euros and include VAT.
b) Delivery charges and payment fees, if applicable, are displayed at checkout before payment.
Note: Delivery of electric bicycles is generally included in the price unless otherwise stated on the product page.
a) Several secure payment methods are available (e.g. Paytrail, Stripe and Klarna).
b) Available payment methods may vary, and the current options are shown at checkout.
c) VoltFactory Oy may verify payment-related information.
d) Payment processing may be carried out by third-party service providers.
a) The seller is always responsible for the delivery of the products.
b) Products are shipped directly from manufacturers or warehouses located within the European Union.
c) Delivery charges are determined according to the order (delivery of electric bicycles is generally included in the purchase price).
d) The estimated delivery time is usually 3–8 days from order processing. Pre-orders are generally delivered within approximately 4–5 weeks from receipt of payment. The aim is to deliver products no later than 30 days after the order. You will receive a tracking number once the shipment has been dispatched.
e) Products that are not collected or accepted by the customer may be subject to return shipping charges.
a) Products are covered by a 90-day right of withdrawal.
b) You may cancel your purchase within 90 days of receiving the product, provided that the product is unused and returned in its original packaging.
c) Notice of cancellation must be given directly to the seller.
d) If you wish, you may use the cancellation form available on the website, which will be forwarded to the seller.
e) Returns must always be arranged with the seller.
f) The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. As products are often shipped from outside Finland, return shipping costs may be higher than usual.
g) You may inspect the product but must not use it. The original packaging must be retained.
h) A deduction may be made for any loss in value caused by use. For electric bicycles, the reduction in value is €10 per kilometre ridden. The seller may refuse the return if the product is no longer in saleable condition.
i) Detailed cancellation instructions are included with the order confirmation.
The right of withdrawal does not apply, for example, to:
a) Most products are covered by a warranty of approximately 12 months, depending on the manufacturer. The exact warranty period is stated on the product page.
b) The warranty period begins on the date the product is received.
c) The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage or defects resulting from use or modifications made to the product.
a) If a product is defective, please contact the seller.
b) You may also submit your complaint through VoltFactory Oy, in which case it will be forwarded to the seller.
c) The seller is responsible for handling the complaint and resolving the defect.
VoltFactory Oy operates solely as a sales platform and is not the seller of the products. The actual seller is responsible for all obligations relating to the sale, including delivery, defects, returns, price reductions and any cancellation of the purchase in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
